From my first series of illustrations of a different story about bear cubs. (page 1)
I was inspired by an Innu Nation cultural story that can be found here>> www.bigorrin.org/archive112.ht…
I did NOT follow the Innu Nation's story exactly and I interpreted a lot that wasn't definite in the story. For one example, the thing that chases the bear cubs is never described in detail in the Innu Nation story, but I have made it a mountain lion in mine. I do not own anything in the actual Innu Nation's story, obviously. I do retain the rights to these drawings, however.
