Gamah (2014)

Yes, you read correctly
It is a traditional drawing (with Prismacolor colored pencils as the only tool besides sketchbook paper)

This is one of my new original characters, Gamah.

Gamah is a dragon god and has 9 dragon siblings or relatives. He is a sort of luck dragon, but has other powers as well. With no wings, he is able to float and often drags himself over landscapes with his back end floating in the air behind him as he does. He does breathe fire, but he only does it when necessary as he is a benevolent being who is kind to humans and all creatures that are not evil. 

I figured since it's been a long time that I have uploaded anything at all, I would make it special and draw it out with the ol' hand on paper.
Actually, the reason I haven't uploaded anything in a while is because I was moving to a new home and I have been extremely busy and thus, packed up my tablet and computer. So, I couldn't draw anything digitally for a long while... so, Voila! a "Traditional" instead of digital because it kills me when I can't draw for a long time, lol ........ UPDATE: I'm all moved in now!

Took about 4 hours of lackadaisical shading and lines... I'm actually not sure how long it took exactly, but that sounds about right since I went back and drew on it about four times over a few days. 

When I don't have anything planned to draw or don't know what to draw, these kind of drawings often come out of my hand. Dragons, elves, fairies, whimsical stuff, etc. I love the fantasy world and it is perhaps my absolute favorite genre. 
I hope you like it and hopefully, it won't be too long before you see some new digitals from me. I now have my tablet monitor and computer hooked up in my new home
